£10 to join a waiting list for season tickets? ST price rises of £200 on top last season's prices! I suppose someone's got to cover Aters wages and the shedloads wasted on Lingard et al. I don't pay for tickets luckily but l feel for those who do. Mugs game.

Yep, all very cynical it seems to me. Bring in this new waiting list, let people know how many people joined it and then hike the prices. That way you know if you don't renew at the new price and ever want one again you'll be at the back of a very long queue!

Just another example of why modern football (and the Premier League) is utter shit. The fans are simply there to be exploited.

I don't have one but I'd like to get one with my lad. I'm on the waiting list but I didn't pay for that, I got put on because of my membership tier.
The daftest thing in all of this though is that the deadline to renew is up until 5th May. We won't even know what division we're playing in at that point.
Why would anyone pay such an increase when we could conceivably be playing championship football again.
It's a piss take by the club though, it really is.

Clubs don't really have much choice with the PL and FIFA being run the way they are. Though I doubt any stakeholders apart from the fans are complaining.
There's enough demand to sell out at those prices. It shouldn't be that way - there should be price caps and first allocaion to the local fanbase - but that's free-market capitalism for you.

£850 for a season ticket! To watch a team who going by the league table are barely better than EFL Championship level. It’s not that nice when you go, seats dirty, rubbish selection of food, toilets in an awful state and look like they haven’t been refurbed in the 20 years I’ve been going. If they’re charging that much the quality of the facilities needs to improve.

I suppose it's another achievement of FFP, clubs are forced to try and squeeze every penny from their fans to maximise income. Not that most clubs need an excuse to be greedy but even if they wanted to keep prices down they're strongly encouraged not to.
I remember years ago reading an interview with a fan of a newly promoted club describing the experience as 'Paying twice as much to sit in the same seats, in the same stadium, watching the same players lose more often'. Doesn't quite apply to Forest as we buy a whole new team team every year regardless of division, but it stuck with me as a nice summary of the promotion experience for most teams....
