Such a shame footballindex didn't hang on another year. I had 450 shares in Grealish. I'd have had two weeks of media dividends and his price would have trebled. So annoying Manchester City Points - 86.5 88 Liverpool Points - 76.5 78 Chelsea Points - 75 76.5 Manchester United Points - 73.5 75 Arsenal Points - 60.5 62 Tottenham Hotspur Points - 58.5 60 Leicester City Points - 58.5 60 Leeds United Points - 53 54.5 Everton Points - 52.5 54 West Ham United Points - 49 50.5 Aston Villa Points - 47.5 48 Brighton and Hove Albion Points - 45 46.5 Wolverhampton Wanderers Points - 42.5 44 Southampton Points - 41 42.5 Newcastle United Points - 39 40.5 Burnley Points - 38 39.5 Crystal Palace Points - 37.5 39 Brentford Points - 37.5 39 Norwich City Points - 35.5 37 Watford Points - 33.5 35 Am I missing something with Brighton? Why are they so fancied all of a sudden? They've finished bottom six for the last four years and have just sold their most valuable player. They're neat and tidy and probably won't get turned over too often but they'll still be near the bottom won't they? I'd expect them to be closer to Watford than West Ham or Villa.....

Well, I got a bit carried away. Gone for buys of Watford, Brentford, Villa, Birmingham, and Burton and a sell of Southampton. Brighton are up another three points after a quite fortunate win on the opening day so that'll be another sell, they're not going to get over 50 points I was going to go with Sheff Utd but just checked their team news first and it was such weird line-up I abandoned the idea, it was the sort of team David Platt would have gone for, looks like I might have had lucky escape there. Was also going to go with QPR but they were a much higher price than I was expecting so I left it. Their manager's done a good job, could do with someone like that at Forest........

Well, it's taken a bit of weird turn at Watford so I'm taking a half point loss and getting the hell out, also taken a 2 point profit on Southampton. Wish I'd closed the bet on Birmingham a few weeks ago, they won't get that high again. Newcastle down to 33.5 now, there's no risk there. That's a buy Forest at 60 to buy if anyone's tempted?

In a possible overreaction to their keeper getting injured I've closed the bet on Brentford for an 8 point profit and taken a two point profit on Newcastle so I can relax and enjoy their relegation over the rest of the season.
Just browsing the Champions League games and Brugge are 30/1 to beat Man CIty! Seems pretty embarrassing for an elite competition when a team in the group stage are about the same price you'd get on an average League One team.

Brighton are up another three points after a quite fortunate win on the opening day so that'll be another sell, they're not going to get over 50 points Back down again to where they started so I'll take another two point profit there Sheff Utd 4/1 to beat Fulham tonight. Got to be some value there....

Closed Coventry for a 5 point profit and a 17 point profit overall and closed Reading for a 9 point loss, immediately wiping out half of that Reading have got the looks of one of those teams that on the verge of collapse where they just lose every week and go down without a fight so I'm not taking the risk... Forest still 14/1 for promotion which seems pretty generous when you consider Middlesbrough and Sheff Utd are 4/1....

Yes, although I'm not sure how much. and it'll be a right hassle collecting it. I had several accounts with tiny amounts in that I couldn't withdraw without 'verifying' myself. I couldn't be bothered to send in photos of bank statements etc for the sake of £3.24 or whatever so was waiting for something decent at long odds to put it all on to make it an amount worth bothering with all the faffing about. That seemed as good as anything I did Forest season points at 65 around the same time too. The bookies seemed very slow to spot what a good run Forest were/are on. It felt like Middlesbrough, Sheff Utd, and Forest were clearly the teams on the rise but we seemed to slip under the radar for a long time.

My horse will be running soon, yes I have purchased the front two legs of a 2 year old in the US, he'll be going to top trainer Brendan Walsh's yard and is expected to make his debut in June. No promises, I'm the son of a turf accountant, I spent my summers at Nottingham. Uttoxeter, Cheltenham, Epsom and everywhere else, been looking to invest for 20 years, when I saw this beast I was all in.

Will give the colts name a couple of days before his first run, been some set backs, had a problem in his stall, looking at July-August in Saratoga.

Bloodline includes Secretariat and Quality Road, My horse is over a hand bigger than both of them, never been extended yet so we still don't know what we have, 21 of June he'll be doing a 3 furlong sprint.
