Yes, all five of those are correct. That's four of the top five (plus Cahill).

John Terry?

When I heard it I thought of John Terry but apparently not. He's just outside the top 12 and the last one had about 25 so Terry must have scored a surprisingly high number goals with his feet.
One of the names on the list I wouldn't have said was even much of a threat in the air....

If they're after someone who knows the 'United way' Steven Bruce is now available.
No to Owen and, more surprisingly, Kane. For the headers I mean, not the next Man Utd manager..

Just thinking of big men now. Niall Quinn? Van Nistelrooy? Giroud?

I heard this on the radio and a couple of people rang in with Van Nistelrooy, and they said he scored a grand total of zero headers. But I don't think that's true. Surely he must have scored a few six yard box tap in style headers, I'm sure I can remember at least one Also no to Quinn but yes to Giroud. There's one, or maybe two, big man type centre forwards still to get and three others who were at the same club at the same time. And two of them have played for Forest. Using 'played' quite loosely in the case of one of those.....

See the Mancs have gone for Rangnick. This could be interesting and wonder how the big money frauds will react as his philosophy is a fast pressing game. There’s not much room for players who like to pick and choose which game they show up for.

Yes, Sheringham The other Forest one is Andy Cole, who somehow has more headed goals than Harry Kane. Dublin, Yorke, and Benteke the others...

Some of these postponements in Premier League are taking the piss now aren't they? Alright, if you've got eight players isolating and have had to close down the training ground then fair enough, that's sudden unforeseen circumstances. But if you've got two with covid then a few injuries and several at the African Nations then so what? Get on with it.
How have Arse got away with that?! Xhaka's missing because of his own stupidity, they've had all season to prepare for the African Nations, and they loaned out Maitland Niles the other day, so if they're short it's their own fault. Ridiculous.

New manager at Watford again then. That looks a harsh one even for them, how well were they expecing to do this season? Nice to see Ranieri again though. How do we think it'll go for him, Leicester or Fulham? Fulham, Art. This is one appoinmtment too many for him. Sacked after just 14 games. WTF?

Worth pointing out Forest have now beaten more Premier League teams this year than Derby did in an entire season in the Premier League...

What's with shirt numbers being used to describe a style of player these days? I don't ever remember this happening until the last couple of years, now it seems quite common. It started with 'number ten' being used to describe a deep forward/attacking midfielder type. I don't think that was ever really the case in England and nobody under 30 remembers anyway, but I was willing to go with it.
Then a few times recently I've heard a midfield player being described as "He's more of a 6 than an 8". What does that even mean? What's next, "more of a 7 than an 11"? "more of a 5 than a 4"? It doesn't mean anything. Stop it.

Yeah it makes no sense. If someone is more 'of a 6' does that make them a centre half or midfielder...because back in the day 6 was given to central midfielders. Then they decided to give 4 to a defensive midfielder, possibly after Makelele so 6 became the new defensive number.
Anyway you have weird ones now. I wonder if in the future any attacking right backs who are dead ball specialists will be like 'a proper number 66' like Alexander-Arnold

I think he meant 6 (or 4) was the more defensive midfielder and 8 the more attacking/creative one which was maybe vaguely true 20+ years ago but I don't remember anyone using it then so it makes no sense now, especially when most teams have three in the centre anyway. Odd. I remember we had a quiz at school and one of the rounds was shirt numbers. Eg 'Who would you find usually wearing number 2 for Norwich'? 'Who is usually Liverpool's number 4?'* I got them all I couldn't tell you for certain what any current player wears. Talking of football quizzes...... Art's football trivia challenge. It's a tough one.... Who are the top ten brothers to make the most combined Premier League appearance. (both brothers must have played at least one Premier League game). In the style of Ted Rogers I'll give you one to start with. Number one is Gary and Phil Neville.... *Ian Culerhouse and Steve Nicol
